Day 106 April 15 2016

We enjoy a beer or three at our ‘local’ on Friday evenings.  The number of small craft brewers  in New Zealand has grown exponentially in the last 7 years and we now enjoy  a range of excellent beers. The Craftbar usually has around 12 different beers on tap so plenty to choose from. Great for the palate, not so good for the waistline!  But great to unwind after a busy week.

Day 53 February 22nd 2016

A busy work day today but I made time to go out and smell the roses in the garden. Ok, this is not a rose and it has no scent but it is stunning!

Day 21 January 21st 2016

I am always amazed how quickly stuff grows in New Zealand. Just a week ago these plants were all leaves and a few flowers. Now they are fruiting big style! But can you spot the odd one out?

Day 16 January 16th 2016

Occasionally I join in with the Weekend Hashtag Project on Instagram if the theme inspires me. “The goal this weekend is to give an insider’s look into your community through creative photos and videos”

This is my contribution so far; a wee cafe hidden away in Hamilton East which makes the best coffee!

Day 5 January 5th 2016

A grey start to the day but the sun came out when we got to the southernmost tip of South Island.
Slope Point is aptly named – check out our holiday blog for more photos later.

Day 4 January 4th 2016

First day in the Catlins and so many beautiful shots to choose from!  A day spent at waterfalls, in bush and at beaches.  This one from Purakaunui waterfall gets the pick. Apparently one of the most photographed waterfalls in New Zealand.
